I’m a UX designer with a background in industrial design, social entrepreneurship, and art direction. From creating physical products to digital products, I use a human-centered approach to problem-solve, and I believe in the powers of empathy and equity to fuel positive impact.
My education and training in industrial design focused heavily on design thinking, user research and testing, rapid and iterative prototyping, market research, and considering the overall environment and system. Equipped with this core set of skills, I started a toy company after graduating from college and gained first-hand experience in bootstrapping, marketing, and branding for a startup, while distributing products to schools, museums, therapists, and families for kids with disabilities. This instilled persistence, an adaptable mindset, and an eagerness to learn in my work. My experience as an art director and producer further developed my skills in photography, graphic design, digital marketing strategies that continue to inform my process and eye for detail.
As a UX designer with multidisciplinary creative roots, I advocate for users as complex individuals with unique needs, to further improve upon educational, playful, and innovative products that strive to make the world a better place.
